Short version: we only text people who contacted us first, and every message is a direct reply to that person's own enquiry. We do not buy, rent, or import phone numbers, and we run no promotional broadcasts. Reply STOP to any message to end them immediately — and they stay ended unless you yourself reply START.
There are two separate messaging programs. Which one applies to you depends on which number you contacted.
This is LeadCatch's own toll-free line. It is business-to-business only: the people who receive texts from it are business owners and contractors who called or messaged LeadCatch about our own service. Messages from this number are sent by LeadCatch on our own behalf, about your enquiry into our product — a demo booking link, a reply to a question you asked us, or account and support follow-up. We do not use this particular number to message homeowners or consumers, and we do not send marketing broadcasts from it. Homeowners are messaged only under Program B below, on the roofing company's own separate number — never from this one.
LeadCatch also operates the phone line, scheduling assistant, and follow-up messaging for independent roofing contractors, each on that contractor's own separate number. That number is also a toll-free number — purchased by LeadCatch and cleared through its own individual Twilio Toll-Free Verification submission before it can send a single message. The roofing company itself is the business named on that verification — its own legal entity, address, and authorized representative — with LeadCatch disclosed on the filing as the scheduling-software provider that operates the line for it. The verification describes exactly this use: answering that roofing contractor's inbound calls and texts. Each number is dedicated to one contractor and used only for that business. Unlike Program A, this number does message homeowners — homeowners who contacted that roofing company first, about their own roofing enquiry. Being toll-free is simply the kind of number the line is; it is not a statement about who is on the other end. Our assistant answers the business's calls live and answers its texts directly — both channels are handled by the same assistant, in real time. When you receive a text through this service, it is sent on behalf of the specific roofing company you contacted, and every message identifies that company by name.
In both programs consent is verbal or written, and always inbound-initiated. In plain terms, you start the conversation. There is no list to join, and we do not buy, rent, or import phone numbers from anyone.
There are exactly two ways to opt in, and you start both of them. Either you text our number first, or you speak with us on a call and say yes to a text. Submitting the enquiry form on our website does not opt you into text messages — we reply to a form by phone call or email, never by text. Calling our business line does not opt you in either: that line is not answered by an assistant, it plays a short recorded message telling you we will call you straight back, and it collects nothing. On that callback, or on any call with us, the person you are speaking with asks your permission and says this before taking your mobile number:
If you decline, we do not ask for your mobile number at all. If you contacted us in writing instead, the reply goes to the number you wrote in from, and the first message carries the same STOP and HELP instructions.
What we never do: we do not send marketing texts to consumers who have not contacted the business. We do not text purchased lists. We do not add you to any recurring promotional campaign. If you never called, messaged, or submitted an enquiry to the roofing company, you should not receive a text from us — and if you do, please tell us at inquiry@leadcatch.homes so we can investigate.
Customer-care messages about the enquiry you made to us: the demo booking link you asked for, a confirmation or reminder for a demo you booked, an answer to a question you asked, or account and support follow-up if you become a customer. Nothing promotional, and no broadcasts.
Messages are transactional and tied to your own enquiry:
Every Program B message carries the opt-out line — "Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." — appended automatically to each message before it is sent, and the samples above are shown exactly as sent. STOP is honored the moment you send it, in reply to any message on the thread. Section 5 below is the complete description of how to stop messages.
Frequency depends on your own conversation — we are answering an enquiry you started, not running a broadcast list. While you are replying, you get as many messages as the conversation needs to book and confirm your appointment. If you stop replying on a roofing company's line, we follow up at most four more times over about two weeks (roughly one, three, seven and fourteen days after your enquiry) and then stop on our own; you may also get a reminder before an appointment you booked. A reply, or a STOP, ends the follow-ups immediately. On LeadCatch's own business line it is simply enough messages to get you the link or answer you asked for. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. We do not send recurring promotional broadcasts on either program, and we never message you about anything other than the enquiry you started.
Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. The opt-out is honored immediately, automatically, on receipt, and is kept on our suppression list so it continues to be honored in future.
The only way to start receiving messages again is to ask us yourself by replying START, UNSTOP, or RESUBSCRIBE to the same number. No other reply — including a plain "yes" — will re-subscribe you, and we will never re-subscribe a number on our own initiative.
All eight of these opt-out keywords work, and each one stops messages from us until you ask us to resume: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT. Capitalisation, spacing and punctuation do not matter — “stop”, “Opt out” and “OPT-OUT” are all read as an opt-out.
One STOP covers that number completely. The suppression is recorded against your phone number itself, not against a single conversation, so it stops messages from both programs described above — LeadCatch's own business lines and any roofing company's line we operate — not only the number you happened to reply to.
You may also reply HELP or INFO for assistance. The reply names the program you are actually messaging. On LeadCatch's own business line you get back: “LeadCatch customer care: reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&data rates may apply. Support: inquiry@leadcatch.homes” On a roofing company's line you get that company's own name instead — “[Company name]: roofing appointment scheduling. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&data rates may apply.” — because on that line you are dealing with the roofing company, not with us. You can contact us directly at inquiry@leadcatch.homes at any time.
Opting out of text messages does not cancel a scheduled appointment. If you want to change or cancel an appointment, call the roofing company directly.
We collect only what is needed to schedule and complete your enquiry — your name, phone number, property address, and what you told us about your roof. Calls to a roofing company's AI receptionist line (Program B) are recorded and transcribed. Before any of your audio is captured, every caller hears the same fixed spoken announcement: “Just so you know, this call is recorded and transcribed for quality, and you're speaking with an AI assistant, not a live person.” It is a fixed pre-recorded line, not something the assistant says in conversation, so it cannot be shortened or skipped, and it finishes before the connection carrying your voice to us opens. If you would rather not be recorded, or would rather not speak with an AI assistant, you can end the call at that point. Calls to LeadCatch's own business line (Program A, +1 (855) 450-8360) are not recorded — that line identifies the caller to us and pages our team directly, so there is no audio capture and no announcement to give.
We do not sell your personal information. Full detail, including how long data is kept and the rights you have over it, is in our Privacy Policy.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consent you give to receive text messages from us is never transferred to another company for that company's own marketing. Your number is disclosed only to (a) the roofing company you contacted, so it can schedule and complete the work you asked about, and (b) the service providers that operate this messaging for us, listed in Privacy Policy §3 — and in each case only for those purposes.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
